Aerospace Surface Treatments Limited1999 Analysed, created, defined and procedurised the Company's working computerised management, manufacturing and cost routines in Manufacturing Total Managment System (MTMS) and Shogun Manufacturing System. Flow charted computer operating sequences from reception of orders to final despatch of manufactured products on the two factory wide work management computer systems - MTMS and Shogun - and produced procedures in terms of data flows, individuals' responsibilities, 'who does what' and screens. Procedures produced covered Work Order creation, treatment of orders from different origins, inter-site transfers, Job Pack and Card creation, Planning, Document and Data Control, Purchasing, Release and Invoicing, etc.Inflite Engineering Services Ltd1998-99 Conducted an appraisal survey of computer manufacturing systems, including BAAN, Western Data Systems, CinC, Sanderson (PIC),MDS-Glovia, etc, and produced implementation plan solution. Analysed, created, defined and procedurised the Company's working management, manufacturing and cost routines in Manufacturing Total Managment System (MTMS) and Shogun. Defined procedures for the use of Q-Pulse, an integrated system for the computerised management of documentation, human resources, quality and on-line management. Procured and set up a Work Record Document Archiving Centre, using Egami Software on a Novell net, scanning and indexing over 3000 documents/day. Assessed and defined the computer modules for MTMS and supervised the presentation of user/working level operating procedures. Flow charted computer operating sequences from reception of orders to final despatch of manufactured products on the two factory wide work management computer systems - MTMS and Shogun - and produced procedures in terms of data flows, individuals' responsibilities, 'who does what' and screens. Within the framework of this maintenance management system a raft of user/operative procedures were produced covering such computer- based elements as equipment criticality, the operation of Maintenance Documentation Control Registers, creating Maintenance Job Plans, and raising Work Requests, Maintenance Work Orders (MWOs) and Sub MWOs in Maximo. Air UK Engineering Ltd1992-95 Set up and developed Flight Safety procedures for BASIS (British Airways Safety Information System). Managed implementation and at the same time defined how BASIS was to be used to capture Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs) and air safety data, and how the data was to be input, correctly categorised and reviewed. These activities were then aligned with the Group Flight Safety Organisation and the accompanying technical reviews. Access and terminal procedures were developed to ensure that all data was input in a timely and correct fashion by all users. Introduced 'Quality Manager', a computerised system for managing quality, into the Company. Royal Air Force1985-89 Led project for the introduction of OMAC 29, a computerised manufacturing management system to a 600 man factory. Chaired the implementation meetings and supervised teams in the development of scheduling, database, MRP and CRP systems, and was instrumental in making the eventual transition from a manual and paper-driven factory, to a fully computerised factory, in under 2 years. 1960-74 Operated state of the art analogue computers in navigation equipments in 'front line' operational aircraft. 2.
